Nassau, The Bahamas - June 30, 2008 - The Sheraton Cable Beach Resort in Nassau, the Bahamas, invites families to start off their summer vacation by relaxing on the beach and having fun in the sun. And with the newly-opened Sheraton Adventure Club, kids will have a blast making new friends while playing beach and water games, or learning and exploring Bahamian culture.
Open to Sheraton Cable Beach Resort guests between the ages 4-12, the Sheraton Adventure Club offers an endless variety of daily and evening activities and hands-on educational programs that will keep kids entertained all vacation long. Club activities include Bahamian arts & crafts, beach bowling and other beach games, swimming activities, video games, junior chef cooking classes, field trips to the Straw Market and other off property excursions, and more.
By dropping off the little ones at the Sheraton Adventure Club, parents can rest assure that their children are safe and secure, while they enjoy some relaxation time, soak up on the sun on Nassau's famed Cable Beach, swim and enjoy water sports, or enjoy a romantic dinner for two at the resort's exquisite Italian restaurant, Amici, A Trattoria.
"Campers" can be enrolled for full-day, half-day or evening sessions, ranging from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with session fees ranging from $25 to $60. Depending on which session they are signed up for, kids will receive snacks and/or meals at the resort's Bimini Market, which offers a variety of tasty kid-friendly foods, such as pizza, pasta, hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream, and other assorted desserts. Kids 5 and under eat for free, while kids between the ages of 6 and 12 receive a 50 percent discount on meals.
